Terms and Conditions
BOOKING
All courses and workshops are non-refundable and transferring to another workshop is not possible. We will sympathetically consider refunds in exceptional circumstances.
CANCELLED WORKSHOPS
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there are insufficient bookings and will refund monies paid or transfer you to an alternative course at another time. If workshops are cancelled due to ill-health of the tutor, weather conditions, etc, a note will be placed on social media and you will be contacted via the methods you have chosen. A refund will be given in full or part if the course has already started.
PERSONAL INFORMATION POLICY
By booking a course, you are agreeing to us holding your personal information electronically for the purpose of the booking and contacting you. We do not intend to ever do anything as horrible as selling your information to anyone. We have expert computer system security to prevent hacking by an outside source.
We will only retain your details for the purposes of informing you of future courses, offers or for a loyalty scheme. Should you not consent to this, please contact us at shirley@upton-stitchery.co.uk and your details will be removed.
PAYMENTS
We can accept course fees paid by BACS (please contact bookings@upton-stitchery.co.uk for details needed) or contactless/cash in the shop. We regret we are unable to take payment via the phone.
CONDUCT
We have a zero tolerance policy towards any attendee who engages in bullying, aggression, racist or intimidatory behaviour towards another attendee, tutor or member of staff. This will result in an attendee being asked to leave the class at a loss of course fee.
PROPERTY
Any materials provided for you to work remain the property of The Stitchery, are on loan and are not to be removed from the classroom. The item/s you are making/have made remains your property and any items included within the class price.
Personal effects are brought at own risk.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Every care must be taken when using scissors, rotary cutters or sewing machines. Drinks must not be taken into the classroom. Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
You may bring your own sewing machine, however this must be in excellent working order and in a safe condition. We reserve the right to refuse its use should we consider this not to be the case.
